What is the origin of your hojicha?

Our hojicha is sourced from small, independent tea farms in the Kyoto prefecture of Japan, where the art of traditional Japanese tea-making is still carefully preserved.

Do you offer single-origin hojicha?

Yes, our hojicha is a single-origin tea, sourced exclusively from the Kyoto region of Japan, We do not blend our hojicha with teas from other regions, ensuring a unique and authentic flavor profile that showcases the distinct characteristics of Kyoto's tea leaves. 

What is the shelf life of hojicha?

As a roasted tea, hojicha has a longer shelf life than traditional green tea. Unopened hojicha can retain its flavor and nutritional properties for at least 12 months after packaging. However, we recommend consuming it withing 6-9 months for optional flavor and aroma. Once opened, it's best to enjoy hojicha within 3 months. To maintain freshness, store hojicha in a cool, dry, and dark place.
